It seems like the Guardian loves to challenge me with vertical layout group photos and serious time constraints. I had about an hour to get this whole thing dialed in with no assistant. Thankfully, I did have some help from art director, Mirissa Neff and other folks on set. In fact, one of the bands's managers even had the foresight to cover all the windows before I showed up. Plus, Jazz Mafia is a sharp bunch and super easy to work with, so everything went off without a hitch. I'm just glad I didn't have to shoot the whole crew, as they roll about 40 deep!Thursday, March 25, 2010
